You Can Do It!
This week, we were asked to write out our life’s accomplishments and things that we were proud of. The minimum is 50 index cards plus 2 sets of 4 of our commonly used affirmations. I started with over 50, added a few more during my flights to Texas, and another 8-10 this morning. From that, we make 2 decks and to carry them with us. When there are moments of waiting or down time, a deck of cards are taken out and read through. By doing this, we are reminding ourselves of all that we did and what we can do, giving us confidence that we can achieve our plans.
As an example, a few of my cards are graduating high school and college, being a dancer, winning championships, all of my travels, meeting and marrying my wife, being a business owner, my coaching, Reiki, and holistic certifications. I’d like to think back into my childhood and see how many that I can come up with- with that, I would garner over a hundred cards. This is a continued process, as I am accomplishing things all of the time. It doesn’t matter how big or small they are, they all count.
I now carry extra cards or a small pad on my person and write new ones down as I think of them. By constantly thinking of and writing down my accomplishments, I am consciously and subconsciously tattooing positivity and can do-ity into and around me, going forward and will bring my plans to fruition a hundredfold faster.
This will also positively alter events for those currently around me and in my circles and others that I meet along the way. Sure, some will fall by the wayside, as they are comfortable in their comfort zone, and I am OK with that. For me, full power ahead!
Thank you for your continued support along my journey.
Congratulations on being prepared when more of your great accomplishments come to mind!
It’s as if I can “see” your enthusiasm regarding your accomplishments! Congratulations on performing this excercise with gusto!
Hi Len, You have given us a nice perspective on the use of index cards. Keep adding accomplishments, therefore creating more new accomplishments feeling the positive result of progress
Love it, Leonard! As a dancer, heart centered red/blue who delights in helping people live their most vibrant life, I really resonated with how you completed and use your cards. Bravo!
This exercise was an reminder of how powerful we are!
Leonard, anyone having to tame a kundalini snake with an eye on the chakras (and associated organ systems), and live to speak about the adventure, definitely must know what he wants and what he’s willing to do to get it! 🙂
