I play a role in a position I was hired to fill in someone else’s business. The business that I’m employed by pays the position, not me. I just fill in the position. What I’m getting at, is that I temporary / expendable. I must play by their rules and expectations. They have control over my time as long as I am employed in the position. The day-to-day tasks are arduous and uncomfortable, I’ve been able to use this uncomfortable situation to fire me up and propel me towards getting control over my time and income source. I use all the adversity as fuel to inspire thoughts and actions towards freedom and financial independence. I see most people I work alongside complain and sulk to themselves about ‘their’ job. I view my day job as a temporary solution for income. I focus on the grander vision I have for myself and my family. The risk of staying stuck in this situation is too high and dangerous. Why is it high risk and dangerous? Income is still dependent on me personally producing. I’m focused on building connections and networks to escape the ‘reality’ others have accepted. I got sick from Covid. It took me almost a year to recover. Income for my family. I didn’t earn any money while I was sick and ended up blowing through savings and maxing out all my credit cards. Now that I’m back on my feet and 3 years older from the incidence I put my family through. I’m determined to get on the fast-track lane out of the Rat Race. Net worth comes from Networks. Cash is trash. Cash flow is king. Own nothing, control everything.
