When I was a kid, I believe anything and everything is possible. My dream was to constantly look (ie discover) & seeking adventure in this amazing world. This world has a lot of beauty and wonderfulness. This “Little Light of Mine” was powerfully radiating vibrantly with love, joy, and peace!
However, as I go to school, university, and the workforce, this zealousness of awe & wonder slowly dissipate. Work, advancement, bills, business, and family, slowly were piled upon me. (ie. the cement on the Golden Buddha). This “Little Light of Mine” was slowly growing dimmer & dimmer.
When my dad passed away, I had to look for a photo for his funeral. In going through the boxes of photos, I found pictures of my dad when he was young. He was full of life, smiles, and vibrancy. He was taking pictures of beauty, people, and famous landmarks. He was ALIVE!
Next, I found his mid-life pictures. The big vibrancy smile he had become ordinary and indifferent. The big bright eyes with awe & wonder have become small sad eyes. My dad’s true authentic smile & vibrancy is now gone.
Next, I found his mid-life pictures. The big vibrancy smile which he had become ordinary and indifferent. The big bright eyes with awe & wonder have become small sad eyes. My dad’s true authentic smile & vibrancy is now gone.
Now knowing the outcome cost of having “Little Light of Mine” be extinguished. I declare, decide, and choose to RADIATE this “Little Light of Mine”.
My solar plexus radiating outward!
I am waking the subconscious power.
I am forming good habits and I will be a slave to my good habits.
I am eliminating my tendency to complain about conditions as they have been
I am persisting in this practice until I have come to a realization of the fact that there can be no failure in the accomplishment of it.
This little light of mine
“This Little Light of Mine” Lyrics
I’m going to let it shine
Oh, this little light of mine
I’m going to let it shine
This little light of mine
I’m going to let it shine
Let it shine, all the time, let it shine
All around the neighborhood
I’m going to let it shine
All around the neighborhood
I’m going to let it shine
All around the neighborhood
I’m going to let it shine
Let it shine, all the time, let it shine.
Hide it under a bushel? No!
I’m going to let it shine
Hide it under a bushel? No!
I’m going to let it shine
Hide it under a bushel? No!
I’m going to let it shine
Let it shine, all the time, let it shine.
Don’t let Satan [blow] it out!
I’m going to let it shine
Don’t let Satan [blow] it out!
I’m going to let it shine
Don’t let Satan [blow] it out!
I’m going to let it shine
Let it shine, all the time, let it shine
