Last week for the Franklin Makeover I focused on Taking Initiative. This week, it’s Kindness. The magnifying glass is showing many examples that are getting put to the mind for examples, and assessment for comparison. It’s very interesting how our awareness is heightened with some focus and attention. Lots of kindness being shared in the mastermind, triggering even more!
As I been flashing this week, and reading The World’s Greatest Salesman scroll 4, a bit of a conflict seems to be in progress. “Nevermore will I be satisfied with yesterday’s accomplishments nor will I indulge, anymore, in self-praise for deeds which in reality are too small to even acknowledge. I can accomplish far more than I have, and I will…”
The flash cards have a bunch of things that I would say fall under the category of “too small to acknowledge,” and all of it is yesterday’s accomplishments. But, I’m dredging up lots of the past to help show “subbie” that we have a notable track record of “taking care of business,” so we can get to accomplishing the “far more than I have” in the future.
In my previous week 10 blog, I realized afterward I left out a couple of key components: Daily action, and immersion (lots of focus, and thought.) For most of my past wins, that was also key. Now seeing that’s what we’re also purposefully doing with this right now.
As I read your blog and the question you ask whilst quoting OM, I feel that you are realising the best is yet to come …
Hindsight builds insight, Mike! 🙂
Dredge on Mike, and you are going “to have far more than you have” real quickly!
