This week, we read in Master Key System about holding a detailed vision and mastering it in the mind before it can materialize in the physical.
I love Tesla’s quote in 7-10. He says, “I am enabled to rapidly develop and perfect a conception without touching anything. When I have gone so far as to embody the invention every possible improvement I can think of, and see no fault anywhere I put into concrete, the product of my brain. Invariably my devise works as I conceived it should, in twenty years there has not been a single exception.”
This quote blows my mind. It’s so simple. See it – then do it.
I strive for this kind of confidence and mastery, especially when it’s setting a goal.
I usually want to get started so fast that I tend to miss some critical step.
I am also a chronic overthinker. And I change my mind a lot.
I see it as a recipe for disaster…. begin sloppy, make errors, lose faith and walk away discouraged.
MKE is brilliantly designed when it comes to visualization, thank goodness. We are reminded to keep looking at our index cards throughout the day and practice autosuggestion.
Honestly, I have not been as committed as I want to be with this. I have my cards bound up in my planner which I have to remember to pull out.
However, this quote from Tesla really resonates with me. I’m truly inspired to keep moving ahead honing this skill. Although I am not where I want to be at the end of this week, I know what I’m after. And I’m pleased with myself that even with a step or two back, it’s still progress.
Inspiring blog Teresa! You nailed it- we are honing our mental skills. Great job applying the Tesla quote to your own life. Congrats!! Keep tapping into your authentic free spirit! =)
P.S. Great bio!
Love your creative comment Loren! Thanks for all your contributions to our MKE community.
My experience is that most often when you look back with your facit at hand you see that the biggest progression comes out from situations with endeavors that you have overcome. You are doing great Sarah!
Progress is never a straight line. Keep on going!
Sarah, I totally understand where you are coming from.
Many worthy endeavors start out as a mess, Sarah. Think of a painter using oil colors. Thanks for getting your Week 7 in on time!:-)
