minutes remaining

I had a close friend come stay with me. We did a lot of cohabitating in a very small amount of space and as a result there were a lot of instances where I got a little ruffled.

Each time I would go away, hurt, stewing in my resentment, and then would remember to forgive. I would let that pain rush away, and could rejoin the fun in a way I never used to do.

Forgiveness doesn’t prevent the other person from learning from their mistakes. Forgiveness doesn’t prevent me from learning to avoid painful situations.

Forgiveness sets me free to be present to the next great moment. Therefore, I commit to forgiving all things so I can get on with the business of having fun and enjoying life!
