MKE Week 19 – KMC – What’s an OFF week?

This was an “off” week for the MKE…..for those unfamiliar, the “off” in an off week is strictly a week where we do not have a webinar put on by the wonderful mentors. However, we are to continue doing the daily practices at our discretion, but it would be foolish not to.

When I reflect on someone like myself, I see a man that has 40+ years of the bad juju in my life that is in the process of correcting and that only comes with enough time put in. The beauty of this is that I can choose to increase my efforts to get better results quicker but at the same time, there are only so many hours in the day. A bonus to remaining consistent and elevating the compounding effect is by continuously performing the daily practices. It’s also these weeks that teach us to continue to progress once the 26 weeks are up.

I’ll admit, I can be better with my practices, however I am proud of the progress I make and the more I am impacted, the more I enjoy doing the things I need to do in order to get better. One thing I will say is, if you have never experienced this journey before and decide you want to give it a go sometime in the future, do what you can to jump all in and make the time to do the work because the rewards are AMAZING and I know I haven’t even begun to scratch the surface.

I know it’s hard to understand when you haven’t gone through it, but I liken it to being a kid oblivious to the lessons your parents would teach you and it wasn’t until you became an adult that you realized how right your parents were in their wisdom. Don’t take a break from hearing what the mentors are telling you because it’s only for your benefit.

The best part of it, is the person I am becoming and knowing that this experience has guided me to become a much better person than in my previous life. My life today is much more enjoyable and the decision to have the awareness to the awesomeness this life provides, allows me to absorb the moments I’m in and gives me a better experience in real time and memory of the event as time passes.

I find that as I get older, memories seem to fade, but that really has more to do with just going with the flow in this life before. Sometimes you have to stop and smell the roses, but if you learn and practice to allow yourself to be present and create awareness ALL THE TIME (which the MKE can help you with), you’ll find yourself in a much happier state. If you haven’t already, start today!

It makes life worth living!
