I have been really appreciating week 15 of MKE.
In our reading this week, we are exploring the deeper meaning of Insight.
IN-SIGHT…, like gaining “sight in” a thought or word has great value. Therefore it is also necessary for this insight to be coupled with love.
It is going beyond what is surface and lingering into the things we learn and see, and going into the darkness (much like into the earth) that achieves so much more.
It is being curious beyond what appears or is spoken of as obvious.
An example could be that we read something that gives us education. We could take it in and accept it at face value. Or, we could ponder it and give time on it and now, we have made it ours, gaining connection. Pausing for this curiosity is love.
Or, we witness a scene, and we could also take this at face value and make assumptions, or we could get curious and see beyond what is obvious and be benifited.
To grow to maturity, we must dig in, and to do this in love is the ultimate. Love is vital for the maturity to take root. Love what is good vs. hating what is bad, and watch what happens.
And so we become aware of traits, everyday heroic traits that we see everyday. But now, as we call attention to this, we become aware of how often these heroic traits are showing up in our world, and yet, we did not notice, until now. Pausing, practicing insight…this shifts perspective and keeps our attention on what is most beneficial to all. This grows love.
This is the result of being an observer, Love what is good. Insightful blog Laura!
Practicing insight on the golden child within and radiating out as the cement cracks and the golden rays shine.
Hi Laura, Beautiful insight. Adding love to the insights that we have. Thank you for sharing this with us.
Thank you, Laura, for bringing vision into my awareness for in-sight. Vision, focus, clarity, also come to mind. Great post!
