In the third scroll it says, “I will remember the ancient law of averages and I will bend it to my good. I will persist with knowledge that each failure to sell will increase my chance for success at the next attempt. Each nay I hear will bring me closer to the sound of yea.”
I was taught this concept in a past business I was involved in. My upline knew that people would feel discouraged if they offered the business opportunity to someone and got turned down. So, she suggested we reframe our way of thinking about our goal. Instead of focusing on getting 5 new business partners, she told us to focus on getting 100 “No’s.” We were supposed to celebrate each time someone said “No” because that meant we were closer to our next “Yes.” She knew the numbers (law of averages) and if we got 100 “No’s” we would automatically have 5 new people on our team at the end. Maybe she got the idea from Og?
I love this reminder of staying active in the work. Not to focus on the result.
I love your blog post as this is what I have learned from my company as well. I had the same thoughts! Great post!
Yes sounds like OG! 🥰 Thank u for sharing
Love this! I do believe once we embrace the No’s on a different frequency it does not weigh us down, but lift us up. Thank you, great share.
The law works, that’s absolutely true
Thanks for that reminder, Brittany! It’s so good to know the Law, right, to be able “bend it to my good.”
So happy for you that you are exercising the Law of Averages Brittany!
Og has reached so many people and we are fortunate to be studying his writings in such detail.
I have heard this concept, too, in past businesses. It’s a great concept and builds resilience! Thanks for sharing!
Great way of using the law of averages 🙂
Sounds like you had a smart upline coach in your business. She was right, it is about the activity more than the results. Do enough of the right activity and you succeed! Way to go Brittany!
Where ever she got, the Law of averages works! Thanks for sharing, it’s encouraging.
