I had an amazing experience last year; I completed an intense mental and physical program called 75 Hard. Only 5 tasks to complete each day, but if you miss any one of them you must start over from the beginning. You must have a plan, you must commit to doing the simple takes every day, and you must record your progress. I started the program knowing I would finish. I saw myself already completing the program every single day.
So what does 75 Hard have to do with me and MKMMA. It shows me that I have a plan with many simple exercises. If I do the daily work, If I do the sit, If I read my index cards, If I read and listen to my books, if I listen to my self-recording of my DMP, AND I add feeling and belief to the work; it is a done deal…. the realization of my DMP is already a reality. I just have to receive it.
I was also aware in completing 75 Hard that I am in for the long haul, not just 75 days. I am in this for the long haul, not just for the short 26 weeks this course runs… I am building good habits.
So, as I reflect on completing 75 Hard, this reading from Part 8 of The Master Key System also inspired me this week.
“18. The law of attraction will certainly and unerringly bring to you the conditions, environment, and experiences in life, corresponding with your habitual, characteristic, predominant mental attitude. Not what you think once in a while when you are in church, or have just read a good book, but your predominant mental attitude is what counts.
19. You can not entertain weak, harmful, negative thoughts ten hours a day and expect to bring about beautiful, strong and harmonious conditions by ten minutes of strong, positive, creative thought.”
It is the thoughts we hold for the long run, not just in short sprints that will make up the results of our life. I choose to hold positive thought and greet each day with love in my heart.
As you run through your life this week, may you be blessed…
Great job Scott, keep up the great work, thank you for sharing.
As you can tell from Terri’s comment, Scott, your words are inspirational! 🙂
