This week we are immersed with so many wonderful lessons and reminders which have a common foundation of love.
In my compass, north is love…it is where it is possible to rise above all the noise of the current events. It is where remembrance of our true essence is being recalled. .
No matter what is going on all around, we are invited to observe and refrain from opinion and negativity. The time is now, to dwell in the world of our dharma, our imagination and what we love.
A distinction has been made clear! It hits home for me. To love what is good is to manifest positive conditions. To hate what is bad is to manifest negative conditions.
At first glance, these two statements may appear to be saying the same thing. However, the difference was played out for us in real life by two men.
“ There is but one law, one principle, one cause, one Source of Power, and good and evil are simply words which have been coined to indicate the result of our action or our compliance or non-compliance with the law.”
Charles Haanel, The Master Key System, part 8
Then, the illustration drives home the point:
“The importance of this is well illustrated in the lives of Emerson and Carlyle. Emerson loved the good and his life was a symphony of peace and harmony, Carlyle hated the bad, and his life was a record of perpetual discord and in harmony.”
Therefore, hating ‘bad’ is destructive to ourselves and all those around us.
Loving what is good is in service to all, and does no harm when one understands the meaning of love, this brings the point home deeper.
The diet invites us to use the law of substitution and reminds us of the law of growth. This is where I was able to gain real perspective.. As long as I can look on in love, all is well, even if it does not appear so at first, but if I drift into hating what is bad, such as negative talk from another, or derogatory statements of judgment. For if I engage in that hate, then I am doing the same as what I hate. I am not able to fulfill love. I am not able to look at another and silently say ‘I love you’
So, ‘I greet this day with love in my heart’ and I am following my compass of bliss. True north is where I am headed to offer the gifts that are meant to be shared through my life here in this time.
So grateful for this lesson and for the immersion into reminders…so I hold onto my ‘sits’ and my cards and readings with deep gratitude. I feel the pull starting and I am feeling a little scared, aha, or is this excitement!?. I am living in my true bliss and I always keep my promises.
So awesome Laura! I’ll use my compass to find my true North and have the ability to love freely. Thanks for all the reminders!
