I have always loved learning, have been a great student, and want to continue to discover.
I’ll be the first to buy the book, buy the course, and go to the class/conference.
Now this week we are asked to continue the Hero’s journey into the abyss of self discovery in solitude without a mentor or aide of any kind. Add to that no phone, book, TV or connection and distraction of any kind. Just me and my thoughts. (And a pen and paper)
I’m going away this weekend for 48 hours of solitude. I’m looking forward to finding out what will I discover with just me as my guide?
Will I only hear the ringing in my ears from my chronic tinitis without any white noise to drown it out?
I wonder how long it will take for my chatter box to finally calm down? How long until my mind slows down enough for my heart to speak?
I can’t wait to find out!
And I can’t wait to hear about your experience!
LOL, I hadn’t thought about that ahead of time, but the tinnitus is one of the things that I noticed early on when doing mine, Stefanie. (Hope yours is as productive as mine!)
Way to embrace the journey! Looking forward to hearing what you discover within this journey into the silence.
I can’t wait to find out myself, Stephanie! 🙂
I bet your tinitus will subside and you will feel peaceful in you newly discovered silence 🙂
When it chatters, say thank you and hit reset. Let the light of your golden child shine! Nature is waiting.
Stefanie, I truly admire your fortitude and determination. Embrace the journey!
