Emotions come and emotions go, for everything there is a season. However, while we honor our emotions, do we let them rule? Ah, here lies the key.
Yes, we want to honor our emotions, but rather than allowing them to rule our lives, we get to make another choice.
Oh, really, you may say to yourself, as I have said to myself? What if, instead of letting emotions rule how things go in life, we allow them to be tools. Feeling an emotion is a signal as to where we are in a moment, but it is important to examine how we view them and linger in them. It is easy to create stories around them. It is important to remember that we have choices around the story we decide to create.
What do I mean?
We learn that it is our thoughts that can make the shift for the usual story we tell ourselves to another that is more supportive of the life we want. We observe that being a victim to our emotions is not in the highest service to ourselves and others. This can bring us into ‘reaction’ in life, bouncing here and there.
However, observation of our emotions gives us choice. We can change how we think and get different results. We can now be in response to life.
To be clear, however, this is an ongoing practice so that we get in the habit of using the Law of Duel Thought , or replacement thought. When we imprint our subconscious with new habits, we now are eventually operating in a new way in life.
The result is profound. We wake differently, we walk differently, we express ourselves differently, we may even dress differently, depending on the story we live in. Our energy rises and our attraction of what we would love in life becomes aligned. It is magical, it is vibration, it is science, it is Divine.
The invitation to the reader is to explore yourself, as a child in wonder. As we grew up, many of us experienced conditioning which is taught as a ‘code of reactions’, we are conditioned to take the validation of others as our approval, However, it has been written in wisdom, “to become as a child in wonderment” ( paraphrased).
This exploration brings to life a more joyous experience.
We become a model for our children in a new way and a light to all the lives we touch.
So, today I master my emotions! Rather then ruling me, they become my tools
