In Haanel’s 21-12 “The predominant thought or the mental attitude is the magnet, and the law is that “like attracts like”, consequently the mental attitude will invariably attract such conditions as correspond to its nature.”

It is amazing what you attract. It may not mean what you want to attract but nonetheless this occurs. As the old adage goes it is the self-fulfilling prophecy. Some people believe this comes from the Old Testament of the Bible and others have a different idea.

Your beliefs are a self-fulfilling prophecy which shape your perception of the world. If you believe things are negative in the world is that not what you will see? If you see positive in the world, is that not what you will see?

If you focus on the negative, how do you feel? Do you not feel negative and not good? Would it not make sense to focus on the positive and feel good at the same time? Remember what you focus on grows. What do you want to focus on?
